The third quarter of 2022 saw varied performance for the top food delivery service applications on Android in Egypt. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

talabat: Food, grocery & more had a steady stream of weekly downloads, starting at approximately 27.2K in late June and ending the quarter with 21.6K in the last week of September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at over 798K in early July before dropping to around 630K by the end of the quarter.

elmenus Discover & Order food experienced growth in weekly downloads, with a high of about 17.4K in mid-September. Active users saw a similar trend, starting at around 190K in late June and rising to approximately 222K by the third week of September.

appetito: Family grocery app witnessed a decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 20.1K and ending the quarter with roughly 1.5K. Active users also decreased, starting at around 41.6K in late June and falling to nearly 17.3K by the end of September.

InstaShop: Grocery Delivery maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from around 4.2K to 7.1K. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly between approximately 24.9K and 29.6K throughout the quarter.

Breadfast: Groceries And More had a modest download rate, peaking at about 11.3K in early July. Active users showed a declining trend, starting at around 19.8K and decreasing to about 14.9K by the end of September.
